Drama classes run weekly throughout the school term and are a great opportunity for participants to develop drama skills as well as social & emotional life skills. Classes provide a safe environment to meet new people, to share stories, express creativity and grow in confidence.
We have three Troupes catering for ages 5-17. There is a limit of 16 participants per class.
Our Savanna Troupe is all about having fun exploring the basics of drama. In Savanna participants will explore verbal and non-verbal communication techniques through exciting exercises and will have plenty of opportunity to stretch their imagination through story. This introduction to Drama is simple, fun, engaging and structured.
Our Rainforest Troupe focuses on character development and improvisation. In Rainforest participants will learn play building techniques as well as script interpretation. This learning journey takes place in a fun and safe environment where participants can express themselves creatively and grow in confidence.
Our Mountain Troupe supports participants who are brand new to drama as well as those who have had previous experience. In Mountain participants will work closely together to build on their drama skills and expand their theatre knowledge. They will develop performance skills for group devised drama as well as scripted drama.
